interstate park

e, b, and i went to interstate park for a bit of a hike today. we hopped in the jeep and drove out to st. croix falls for an afternoon of walking on the (mostly) cool paths through the woods and along the cliffs.

if only they'd seen the arrow on the tree, they wouldn't be wondering which way to go...

one of the potholes created by rocks swirled around by the river. hard to tell scale here but this one is actually about 15 feet deep.

ah, yes and the lizardly dad sunning himself on a rock at the end of the day.
