doing instead of merely consuming

very cool blog entry on a change in media from just binging on media
presented to actively "doing stuff" with information. now... it
remains to be seen what will become with all the stuff that comes from
social networks, but the blogger has a sense of optimism that doing
over consuming will have a much larger social impact.
