flowers in our yard

not a lot of commentary needed here, i was just playing around with the manual settings on my camera trying to control the depth of field. i was inspired by my stunning wife who went to shoot with a local photographer last week and learned about the concept and a little about how to push our camera to do it. anyway, i played around with it today and here are some of my favorites.

best volunteer duty

my duty volunteering at the YAC was to stand outside next to these flowers while greeting schools.

that is NOT going to work

flat tire today (in the rain). when i went to loosen the track nuts, my wrench broke.

homebrewer heaven

another craft brewer goes to non-twist-top bottles, which can be reused/recapped by homebrewers. my homebrew homies salute you red hook. maybe someone can convince my local fav, summit, to ditch the twisties in favor of longnecks with poptops!
