climbing high

went on a field trip with bel's class to the audubon center. as a part of our learning we hit the climbing wall. bel made it to the top of the one wall that went past vertical. i was proud of her. here's her progress:

more spring cleaning

a little "recreational" fire (read: beer nearby) to finally dispose of Christmas tree really enables my kind of spring cleaning.

a winter's worth of grime

ugh, swept up the garage today. a winter's worth of grit, dust, and salt from 2 cars makes a pretty big pile.

bah, when you "invest" in hardcore, industrial-strength, messenger-style knickers (usually $100+) do they last longer than repurposed shop pants? these lasted through 6 months of commuting mostly 5 days a week.

no respect for the pint glass

just discovered one of my two pint glasses on the counter holding a scrubberdealie and a fish net. oh the humanity!
